This special event marked the debut of ‘I Hope You Come Into Fruition’, the first solo exhibition by Chicago-based creative Chelsea Ballinger. Chelsea’s work delved into the layers of Black American culture, offering a visual journey that blends personal nostalgia with universal connections.

The exhibition includes thought-provoking photographs and a reflective installation, challenging viewers to engage with the question:

How do you partake in the consumption of Black American culture?

Beyond Blue, an art exhibition exploring the hidden narratives of indigo, was set to captivate art enthusiasts and history buffs featuring Alexandria Eregbu and Amanda Christine Harth.

Throughout the 7 week exhibition and programming, visitors were invited to join a transformative journey through the historical significance and artistic expressions of indigo pigment.

Within the intimate spaces of Beyond Blue, visitors witnessed the fusion of artistry and historical consciousness. Eregbu's emotive artworks poetically address the complex intersections of identity, memory, and cultural heritage. Harth's craftsmanship paid homage to the ancestral connections and narratives interwoven within indigo's fabric.
