So, bittersweet news- this blog will wrap up the look book series (temporarily) as we take a slight pivot into something new, something that challenges my creative thinking a bit more. I hope you guys enjoyed this look book series! I have some things that I’d like to invest in to enhance the quality of the shots + I need to shoot with my assistant more.. (Thanks Emily!). This lamb skin jacket by Malene Birger was gifted to me by my mom. I dragged her to Nordstrom one day to attempt to pick up some new pieces for her wardrobe. And as we browsed the women’s section, I instantly gravitated to this jacket. I tried it on and gaggeddd! First of all, I absolutely adore leather. The color, sleeves, zippers, collar, the length! My mom saw how much joy this jacket brought me and purchased it. Luckily, it was on sale (don’t ask how much the original price was) and she had some Nordy points. Every time I wear this jacket, it reminds me of my mom’s love. She will do any and everything for me to be safe, happy, and healthy. It’s taken us up until a few years ago to get along. We had it extremely hard throughout my life but, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The kind of love we built is unlike any love. I love my mom so much. And thanks to her, I get to prance around in this beautiful lamb skin jacket lmao!
