LOOK BOOK 03 | Denim Casual — Beetlejuus Studios

There’s something about a good denim, oversized tee, and platform heel combo. I already had it in mind to keep things light for this shoot to show a different side to my style. I also had to tell myself to make this as easy as possible because I tend to put so much pressure on things for no reason. But as I posed for each shot, I instantly felt more and more relieved. It felt as though I was releasing some of the stress and anxiety that I needed to shake off as I flow into the new week.

In the last couple of days, I spent a lot of time editing my website. I held a lot of doubt and fear (and still do) in owning my career passions. My website has evolved a lot since some years ago- which I’m proud of. Truthfully though, I have not stood 10 toes down in my freelance work. Thanks to the support around me, I’m finally stepping into the doubt and fear, asking God to help me thru the mud, and finding my way to stand taller.

This outfit helped me stand taller and moving through these shots shook off some of that weight. Why not be proud and show the world? Why not speak very loudly about my passions? Just own it.
